Annual General Meeting

Hi all,

It is time for our annual general meeting. We will be running the meeting in place of our usual yoga session in room 400:249 on Wednesday the 8/10 between 12:30 and 1:30. Everyone is welcome, there is limited space in the room (~72) and we will have a drop in style area for those who would like to have their say but can't stick around.

We are currently looking for new commitee members to fill the roles of treasurer, Secretary, Vice President & yoga teacher. Please get in contact if you are interested in any of the roles above, you will be required to be a student at curtin during the time of holding a position as a commitee member.

If you are a yoga teacher and would like to run some of the sessions, in particular the Wednesday sessions through first semester 2026. As part of my course I am required to do work placement every week at the time of the current sessions. You will need proof of certification, current insurance and working with children check (if you need help obtaining any of these please let me know and I will gladly help). 

Special thanks goes out to the lovely Amy Pang our current secretary, she has been an absolute blessing in the creation and running of the club and we wouldn't have been able to make it this far without her. Although she is happy to help with online duties, she will be in the Kalgoorlie campus as part of course requirements. 

I would also like to thank Alicia (AKA Jingwen Zhang) our current treasurer.

Meeting Minutes: (These are not in order of how the meeting will take place)

Thanks to all of you for being a part of the Curtin Yoga Club. It has been inspiring to watch it grow over the last couple of years and I hope to see it continue to prosper into the future.
